Comstock has many permits now on the books.  Anyone know if they have moved a rig into DeSoto Parish and started drilling?  Location?

Comstock is running two rigs however they have announced that they will release one and begin a refrac program.  The wells currently being drilled are the Horn 8-17HC in 12N-16W and the Boggess 5-8HC in 13N-16W.

thanks.  Comstock has 5 wells permitted in the Stanley area, but none of them are cross-unit laterals.  Based on the Comstock article posted under another string today, seems like that is what they are focusing on.  The 5 units are, for the most part, contiguous.  Perhaps they will re-permit in that area at some point with CULs.

You're welcome.  That's what they are drilling currently.  As long as they are the operator of the adjoining N/S units/sections there is no obvious reason to drill any other well design than an HC.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
