I guess I'm just too dam old to appreciate Steven Tyler (America's answer to Mick Jagger) and Willie, bless his heart, is too old, too.

Age has nothing to do with it, jffree1. LOL! Considering the locale, I'm thinking Janis Joplin although the denizens of deep E. TX. probably have a few other native sons and daughters they may care to nominate. How bout Mercedes Benz as the theme song for all the new high rollers in San Augustine County?!!

How bout the "Buggie Kings". Don't know if I spelled Buggie right or not, being that it happened a long time ago. I think that I remember "Live at the Bamboo Hut" or something on the beach at Galveston.

Boogie Kings were still going in the mid 80's. I think I'd still go out of my way to see them today and they are as ancie well seasoned as Willie.
