I originally signed a lease with camterra for section 028,16n-13w.  Does anyone know

if they still are in charge of this unit?  If not wouldn't I have been notified?

Section 28 is a J-W Operating HA Drilling & Production Unit.
John for Camterra to notify you of an assignment you would have had to have a notification of assignment clause in your lease.
Camterra sold out to Exco and Chesapeake
Though I am actually leased to Exco Resources, Camterra was the Operator of a Haynesville well in T15N,R14W, Section 9.  Back in October of last year, Camterra apparently sold their interest in the unit to Chesapeake who promptly shut in the well and it hasn't produced at all since that time.  I sure would like to find out what the issue is and how long Chesapeake intends to have it shut in.
SB--if you have royalty interest in the well I would think royalty relations with CHK would be obligated to explain their plans and reason for the shut-in of your mineral interest
