We have a small interest in the J. Mora survey that the lease expired last month. Does anyone know if there's any leasing going on there?

Kathy--on the Coats #1 HK and EOG had been 50/50 JV in the well, but why they that double the accounting cost for each to issue check doesnot make lots of sense unless one or the other is planning to sale out their interest. One thing will be very interesting that is look at each check from EOG and HK and see if price for gas, gross sales, deductions, etc all match.

My mother has an interest in the Coats #1 well in Nacogdoches. I received a phone call from my brother today saying that Petrohawk was now going to pay for 1/2 the royalty check that had previously been paid 100% by EOG. I went to my mailbox and sure enough there was a "Divison Order" from Petrohawk and a check for what I presume is 1/2 the royalty check. Does anyone know what this means or why they would do this? I sure don't understand what is happening.

I haven't seen anyone discuss the fact that EOG announced recently that they are selling all of their natural gas holdings including the Haynesville shale plays and going in a different direction. What will that do to values in the area especially since they hit some of the boggest wells. Also what about wells in development like ACLCO Unit well 33153?

Shelly, if you will click View All (under Discussion above) and then search for "Mora", you will get all of the comments and discussions concerning the J. M. Mora survey. There are quite a few to read through.
