Using various software, an interpreter can literally take a "cube" of 3D data and rotate it any way they want to "see" or visualize the reservoir from every angle - including from below.

And also load up directional data from horizontal wellbores to "see" where the wellbore actually penetrated the 3D cube section. In zone or out of zone / crossing faults / differences in rock properties.

Check out the three attachments - this is the ultra tip of the 3D visualization capabilities that are out there today. And improving daily.

David, you have to cut the data out of the database report and paste it into a word document in order to edit it and then cut and paste it into a reply box here on the site.

okay, I give. I don't do word. I have wordpad. tried cutting and pasting, but can't do it. sorry. it is the state lease sale results.
rapides parish did not have any bidders-which doesn't look good. east Feliciana had 38 acres that leased to Conoco phillips. for $756 per acre. east baton rouge and west baton rouge parishes had 303 acres and 275 acres which leased for $205 per acre to Sunnyside resources. Evangeline parish had 641 acres that leased to Banff energy for $550 per acre. that is it from the non-techy.
