E.Tx Drilling 8/15 & 8/22/10:

Completions:

Harrison County

Youngblood 1H was completed by Chesapeake in Carthage Field. This well is 5.24 miles southeast of Leigh at 15,533 feet. On 22/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 8.112 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Haynesville Shale formation.


Jenk-Hazb Gas 1H is 9.7 miles south of Marshall in Carthage Field. Berry Oil drill 15,990 feet. On 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 9.723 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Haynesville Shale formation.


Andrew Alan Exploration drilled Frank Bruce 1 in Blocker Field. This well is 5.9 miles south of Marshall at 10,242 feet. On 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 500,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley formation.


On a 24/64-inch choke, the James & Robert Tiller Gas 1H potentialed 9.867 million cubic feet of gas. Penn Virginia Oil & Gas drilled 2.1 miles west northwest of Elysian Fields to 15,790 feet. Production is in Haynesville Shale formation.


Pilot 8H is located near Karnack in the Woodlawn Field. NFR Energy drilled to 12,450 feet. On 58/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 5.842 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

The Carolyn Bell Deep GU Well No. 1H was completed by NFR Energy to 15,985 feet 5.5 miles southeast of Hallsville in the Carthage Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.804 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.


Shelby Operating completed the Williams Well No. 5 to 6,500 feet five miles south of Waskom in the Waskom Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 913,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak 1 formation.

Developmental:

SWEPCO 1H will be drilled by NFR Energy in Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 12,610 feet, 3.5 miles southeast of Hallsville in William Little Survey, A-397.


In a lease 3.2 miles southwest of Waskom in Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field, Taylor-Abney-O'Banion 13H will be drilled by Devon Energy in the S. Holloway Survey, A-295, to 12,000 feet.

In a lease 10.2 miles east of Marshall in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Moon Well No. 1 will be drilled by Chinn Exploration to 11,255 feet in the M. Duncan Survey, A-197.


NFR Energy will drill the Harris-Munden GU Well No. 12H to 12,200 feet 7.4 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the P. Lindsey Survey, A-391.


GMX Resources will drill the Baldwin-Mia Austin (Allocation) Well No. 1H will be drilled to 13,000 feet 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the Wm. Smith Survey, A-21.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Timmins Gas Unit Well No. 4H to 14,000 feet 3.6 miles southwest of Elysian Field in the North Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the J. Findley Survey, A-247.

Berry Oil completed the Hazel Byrne Gas Unit 3 Well No. 1H to 16,253 feet 9.7 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.654 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Penn Virginia Oil & Gas completed the McClendon Gas Unit Well No. 6H to 12,245 feet 6.2 miles west of Elysian Field in the North Carthage Field. On a 30/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.152 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Developmental:

GMX Resources will drill the Bosh Well No. 17H to 13,000 feet 8.1 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the D. Earle Survey, A-235.


In a lease 15.1 miles east of Marshall, in the North Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Marsh Gas Unit Well No. 2H and the Marsh Gas Unit Well No. 3H will be drilled to 14,400 feet Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the A. Collier Survey, A-155.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Foreman Gas Unit Well No. 3H in the North Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is 6.3 miles west of Elysian Field in the S. Monday Survey, A-14.


Valance Operating will drill the Reese Unit Well No. 3 to 12,500 feet 11.6 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the M. Duncan Survey, A-197 and may be drilled in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field.

Berry Oil will drill the Jenkins East GU 1 Well No. 3H to 12,000 feet 9.8 miles southwest of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field in the E. Carrol Survey, A-135.

Forest Oil completed the Pepper Gas Unit 1 Well No. 7H to 14,452 feet 3.3 miles southwest of Marshall in the Southwest Woodlawn Field. On a 56/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.329 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.


Samson Lone Star
completed the Chad Ellis Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 17,324 feet 5.5 miles northwest of Wasom in the Haynesville Shale. On a 22/64-inch choke well potentialed 10.454 million cubic feet of gas.

Penn Virginia completed the Fults Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 17,524 feet nine miles west of Elysian Fields in the Carthage Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 14.850 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


Penn Virginia completed the Gibson Gas Unit Well No. 3H to 13,987 feet 11.8 miles east of Marshall in the North Carthage Field. On a 30/60-inch choke the well potentialed 1.253 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Berry Oil completed the Hazel Byrne Gas Unit 3 Well No. 2H to 15,916 feet 10.1 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 19/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.303 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

In a lease five miles northeast of Waskom, Rudd Well No. 1H was completed by Matador Production to 10,691 feet in the North Carthage Field. On a 8/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.966 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale.


GMX completed the Verhalen "D" Well No. 3H and the Verhalen "E" Well No. 6H in the north Carthage Field.


The Verhalen "D" Well No. 3H hit 11,484 feet 7.2 miles southeast of Marshall. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.788 million cubic feet of natural gas.


The Verhalen "E" Well No. 6H hit 10,290 feet 6.8 miles southeast of Marshall. The well potentialed 11.256 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier Shale.


Berry Oil completed the Hazel Byrne Gas Unit 3 Well No. 2H to 15,916 feet 10.1 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 19/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.303 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Developmental:
The Brown Gas Unit Well No. 9H will be drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas to 14,000 feet 8.5 miles west of Elysian Field in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley). The well is in the S. Mondays Survey, A-14.


Devon Energy will drill the Sanders-Abney (Allocation) Well No. 3H to 16,500 feet in a lease 4.8 miles southwest of Waskom in the Wasko (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the P. Mitchell Survey, A-483.


BP America will drill the Juble D. Griffis Gas Unit Well No. 7H to 15,000 feet 2.9 miles south of Woodlawn in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the G.W. Reynolds Survey, A-613.


Samson Lone Star will drill the Mink Well No. 2H to 10,000 feet three miles northeast of Elysian Field in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field in the S.T. Mitchell Survey, A-481.

The Highland Lake Club Gas Unit Well No. 5H was completed by BP America Production. This well hit 9,713 feet 2.6 miles east of Woodlawn in the Woodlawn Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 3.754 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.


The Devon Gas Unit Well No. 5 and the Brown Gas Unit Well No. 6H have been completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas.


The No. 5 hit 11,476 feet 7.1 miles northwest of Marshall in the Southeast Woodlawn Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 757,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.


The No. 6H is 7.5 miles west of Elysian Field in the North Carthage Field. On a 30/60-inch choke the well potentialed 10.300 million cubic feet of gas in the Bossier Shale.

GMX Resources completed the Verhalen "D" Well No. 1H hit 16,181 feet seven miles southeast of Marshall in the North Carthage Field. On a 25/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.004 million cubic feet of gas in the Bossier Shale.

Developmental:
NFR Energy will drill the Blalock "A" Well No. 16H to 12,306 feet five miles southwest of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the F. Wilson Survey, A-795.


Berry Oil will drill the Jenkins East GU 1 Well No. 2H to 12,000 feet 9.6 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the E. Carrol Survey, A-135.


The Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field will see the Rollie Sims Deep GU Well No. 2H drilled to 12,370 feet five miles west of Darco by NFR Energy. This is in the W. Watson Survey, A-748.

Devon Energy completed the Zach Abney Unit Well No. 3H to 9,524 feet 6.2 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 5.125 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


The Southwest Woodlawn Field has seen the Pepper Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7H drilled by Forest Oil to 10,086 feet 3.3 miles southwest of Marshall. On a 56/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.329 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas completed the Devon Gas Unit Well No. 7 and the Devon Gas Unit Well No. 8 in the Southwest Woodlawn Field. The wells are 7.1 miles northwest of Marshall. The No. 7 hit 10,606 feet and potentialed 842,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.


The No. 8 hit 10,635 feet and potentialed 1.074 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Developmental:
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Fogle Gas Unit Well No. 8H to 14,000 feet 11.3 miles east of Marshall in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the E. Marlow Survey, A-489.


Tony W. Clemons will drill the Frank Davis Est. Gas Unit 2 Well No. 2 to 7,000 feet six miles north of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field. This well is in the R.W. Smith Survey, A-626 and may be drilled in the Woodlawn (Hill, Pettit-Page, Rodessa, Nugent or Transition) Fields.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Anderson Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 14,000 feet 7.4 miles northwest of Elysian Field in the North Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the S. Monday Survey, A-14.


In a lease five miles south of Waskom in the Waskom (Gloyd) Field, the Williams Well No. 5 will be drilled by Shelby Operating. This well will hit 6,500 feet in the Jacob Wornick Survey, A-733. The well may be drilled in the Waskom (Travis Peak 3, Rodessa

In a lease 3.7 miles northwest of Hallsville, in the North Carthage Field, the Lawrence G.U. Well No. 1-H was completed to 15,220 feet by Unit Petroleum. This well potentialed 1.766 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64 choke. Production is in the Bossier Shale.


Developmental:
Harrison County

NFR Energy will drill the E.H. Lowery Deep Unit Well No. 1H and the Wood Well No. 5H. The No. 1H will hit 12,500 feet three miles east of Hallsville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the W.B. Green Survey, A-820. The No. 5H will hit 10,600 feet six miles southwest of Karnack in the J.B. Craine Survey, A-144. This well is in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field.


Valence Operating will drill the Fowler Well No. 2 to 12,500 feet 12.6 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the S.G. Alexander Survey, A-56 and may also be drilled in the Beckville (Travis Peak, Cotton Valley) Fields, the North Beckville (Pettet) Field or the South Hallsville (Page) Field.


Devon Energy will drill the Abney 1215 Well No. 10H to 12,500 feet 4.7 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the P. Mitchell Survey, A-483.
