The Brown Unit 1 Well No. 11 and the Turner Unit 1 Well No. 13 have been completed in the Carthage Field by Lacy Operations.


The No. 11 hit 9,735 feet 8.3 miles northeast of Carthage and on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.417 million cubic feet of gas.


The No. 13 hit 10,061 feet 5.3 miles northeast of Beckville and on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 745,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Anadarko E&P will drill the Gana Williamson Unit Well No. 13H in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field to 12,000 feet 7.4 miles southeast of Carthage in the A. G. Hudson Survey, A-345.


The Jean Pope Well No. 2 will be drilled to 9,000 feet 4.7 miles northeast of Logan by Deep Rock Resources in the Belle Bower (Travis Peak) Field. This well is in the J.W. Baker Survey, A-60.


In a lease 11.2 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the J. H. Browning Well No. 7 will be drilled by Patara Oil & Gas to 10,250 feet in the L. Sanchez Survey, A-602.


This well may also be drilled in the Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field, the Northeast Fairplay (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage (Lower Pettit) Field, the Itex (Pettet) Field, the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field, the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Itex (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.


The Young Grace GU Well No. 2H will be drilled to 12,500 feet six miles northwest of Beckville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. NFR Energy will drill the well in the I.M. Freeman Survey, A-204.


XTO Energy will drill the New Horizons Well No.R1H to 17,500 feet 8.6 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the P. Knoll Survey, A-375.

Anadarko E&P completed the CGU 24 Well No. 23 to 9,797 feet 6.5 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 888,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Chesapeake Operating comple-ted the Werner Well No. 1H to 11,094 feet 14.4 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.151 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.

The Wiener Well No. 3H was completed by Basa Resources to 3,038 feet .9 miles southwest of Galloway in the Belle Bower Field. On a ?-inch choke the well potentialed 469,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Paluxy Upper.


Glassell Producing completed the Panola Development Company Well No. 8 to 9,850 feet 8.4 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 726,000 cubic feet of gas in the Travis Peak 6450.


Classic Operating completed the Roquemore GU Well No. 2 to 10,130 feet 1.3 miles southwest of Fairplay in the South Carthage Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.318 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


The A. Pitts Unit Well No. 15 has been completed by ConocoPhillips to 9,585 feet nine miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On a 40/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.473 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Developmental:
The CGU 4 Well No. 18 hit 11,000 feet 3.3 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. Anadarko E&P will drill this well in the A. Moorman Survey, A-427.


Exxon Mobil will drill the Bess Smith Broderick Gas Unit 2 Well No. 6H to 12,000 feet 8.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the TC RR Co. Survey, A-880.


David G. Powell will drill the Tompkins Well No. 1 to 10,000 feet three miles southeast of Gary in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the J.M. Bradle Survey, A-49.

Devon Energy completed the Lois Haygood Well No. 18 to 9,725 feet 6.9 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. The well potentialed 875,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


XTO Energy completed the PEC Minerals Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1H to 17.673 feet in the Carthage Field. No location was recorded. The well potentialed 8.908 million cubic feet of gas on a 19/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


On a 14/64-inch choke the Wagstaff Well No. 1 potentialed 2.747 million cubic feet of gas. Texas American Resources completed the well to 11,808 feet 5.4 miles west of Beckville in the Beckville Field. Location is 5.4 miles west of Beckville in the Cotton Valley.


Devon Energy completed the Carthage Gas Unit 110 Well No. 14 to 10,343 feet 6.4 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 733,000 cubic feet of gas is in the Cotton Valley.


Lacy Operations completed the Holt Unit 1 Well No. 6 to 10,126 feet 3.6 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.345 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.


Anadarko E&P completed the CGU 14 Well No. 22 in the Carthage Field to 9,682 feet 2.9 miles northwest of Carthage. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 685,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.

This well is in Rusk County.

On a 18/64 choke, the Major Kennedy Estate Well No. 30HH potentialed 7.091 million cubic feet of gas. Anadarko E&P completed the well to 11,376 feet 18.8 miles northeast of Henderson in the North Carthage Field. Production is in the Bossier Shale.

The Allie Marie Hogg Well No. 11H potentialed 4.952 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64 choke. XTO Energy completed this well to 15,622 feet 12.7 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field in the Haynesville Shale.


Sojitz Energy completed the Beckham Well No. 8 to 11,220 feet 11 miles southwest of Carthage in the Beckville Field. On a 14/64 choke the well potentialed 350,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville.


On an adjustable choke the J.W. Cooke Well No. 1 potentialed 112,000 cubic feet of gas. Glassell Producing completed this well to 6,550 feet eight miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Pettit Lower.


Lacy Operations completed the Burnett Unit 7 Well No. 27 and the Well No. 28 in the Carthage Field 7.8 miles north of Carthage.


The No. 27 hit 10,075 feet and potentialed 984,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke.


The No. 28 hit 9,722 feet and potentialed 1.202 million cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

The No. 23 is 5.1 miles northwest of Carthage and on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 748,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Samson Lone Star completed the Edward Westmoreland Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2H to 10,966 feet 1.5 miles northwest of DeBerry in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64 choke, the well potentialed 7.824 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.


XTO Energy completed the Elve Tompkins Well No. 15H to 18,313 feet 3.4 miles southwest of Beckville in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64 choke, the well potentialed 4.178 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.


On a 26/64 choke the Hemby Well No. 4H potentialed 10.444 million cubic feet of gas. NFR Energy completed this well to 11,567 feet 1.6 miles northeast of Tatum in the North Carthage Field. Production is in the Bossier Shale.

Basa Resources completed the Reed Well No. 3 to 6,900 feet 8.4 miles southwest of Beckville. On a .250-inch choke the well potentialed 21,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Rodessa -C- formation.


Sojitz Energy Venture completed the Smith Well No. 2 to 11,330 feet 5.9 miles southwest of Clayton in the South Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 282,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.

Classic Operating will drill the Wiener Estate "C" Well No. 1 to 11,500 feet 5.1 miles west of Joaquin in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the H. Pinkston Survey, A-817 and may be drilled in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field or the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.


Patara Oil & Gas will drill the Weir Estate Well No. 2 to 10,300 feet 12.1 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the W. Pearce Survey, A-551 and may be drilled in the Beckville (Cotton Valley Lime) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.


The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Nell Hudson Unit Well No. 20 drilled by Devon Energy to 11,000 feet 4.7 miles southwest of Carthage. It is in the I. Hanks Survey, A-271.


Anadarko E&P will drill the CGU 12 Well No. 18 to 11,000 feet 4.2 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the S. Duncan Survey, A-158.

ConocoPhillips completed the Pitts A Unit Well No. 17 to 9,520 feet 8.9 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 611,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Chevron U.S.A. completed the Hicks Unit Well No. 6 to 9,900 feet in a lease 4.1 miles northeast of Beckville, in the Carthage Field. The well flowed with 168 barrels of crude on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.


Devon Energy completed the H.R. Fenders Well No. 26 to 9,607 feet 5.2 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 2.150 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


The Boren Unit 1 Well No. 9HH and the CGU 17 Well No. 25 have been completed in the Carthage Field by Anadarko E&P. The No. 9HH hit 10,684 feet 7.4 miles southeast of Carthage and potentialed 4.839 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. The No. 25 hit 9,703 feet 3.8 miles northwest of Carthage and potentialed 627,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.



Developmental:

Classic Operating will drill the Wiener Estate "A" Well No. 1 in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field to 11,500 feet 4.7 miles west of Joaquin in the E. Daniles Survey, A-889. This well may be drilled in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field or the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.


In a lease 6.4 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Hebert Well No. 23 will be drilled by Devon Energy to 11,000 feet in the I. Hanks Survey, A-271.


The CGU 7 Well No. 20 will be drilled to 11,000 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. Anadarko E&P will drill this well in the U.J. Longacre U J Survey, A-403.

The Cottle-Reeves Unit Well No. 3H and the South Gary Gas Unit 2 Well No. 5H have been completed in the Carthage Field by Anadarko E&P.


The No. 3H hit 9,172 feet 8.6 miles southeast of Carthage and potentialed 1.787 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.


The No. 5H hit 9,372 feet 21.7 miles northeast of Henderson and potentialed 7.225 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/120-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Texas American Resources completed four wells in the Beckville Field.


On a 20/64-inch choke the Mangham Well No. 1 potentialed 1.046 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 10,547 feet 4.4 miles northeast of Beckville.


On a 16/64-inch choke the Glovier Hamilton Well No. 13 potentialed 487,000 cubic feet of gas. This well hit 10,486 feet 3.3 miles northwest of Beckville.


On a 20/64-inch choke the Glovier Hamilton Well No. 18 potentialed 1.333 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 10,495 feet 2.6 miles northwest of Beckville.


On a 18/64-inch choke the Glovier Hamilton Well No. 36 potentialed 868,000 cubic feet of gas. This well hit 10,540 feet 3.3 miles northwest of Beckville. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Lacy Operations completed the Cameron Unit 2 Well No. 15 hit 9,850 feet seven miles north of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.746 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Anadarko E&P completed the Kyle, J.R. - A- Well No. 13to 9,317 feet 6.6 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 941,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.


The Carthage Field has seen the Werner Well No. E-2 completed by Chevron U.S.A. The well hit 9,550 feet three miles north of Deadwood. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 485,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.

In a lease 7.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Borders, EGU 1 Well No. 6H will be drilled to 12,000 feet by Anadarko E&P. The well is in the J. Soope Survey, A-870.
