How many wells are on the Viney Greer and Hiram Edee surveys? We are still UMO w/the Wheeler Unit #1 and the RR shows that it has produced quite a bit of gas. Thanks!!!
According to the county records on 4/28/2011, Crimson filed an assignment to Rock Ridge for ORRI on numerous leases that are not drilled and due to expire. What does this mean for landowners if the leases are due to expire this month?
I am not good with computers, so must ask rathyer than search.
Information please on the Owens # 1 in San Augustine County and on
the Kodiak well. Anyone know the size , formation etc.?
They are unique, Mr. Bodine. The SME well is just plain Ironosa #1H while the EOG well is Ironosa Gas Unit #1H and the Exco well is Ironosa SU (Shale Unit) #1H.

You may have a wrong mailing address on their records -- they are sometimes slow to update in Denver or Shreveport.
BTW, how can there be more than one "Ironosa #1-H" - I thought these well names were unique, at least within the county.
BTW #2 -- someplace on the GHS web site in recent months there were links given to current Unit Declarations maps for San Augustine County. Now I can't find them. Where are they?Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
