I saw that map on their "Pritchard Capital 2010 Energize Conference" 1/6/2010 presentation. It seemed they used those wells as a guide to define the area of haynesville shale in East Texas. It also showed 4 rigs in San Augustine and 3 in North Western Sabine county as being on their 2010 drilling program. They also had a blob map showing estimated ip's that looked very nice for the same area of 10 mmcf or more. I don't think they plan on anything for those older wells, just those 7 above. I hope they are dead on as well.

I noticed on a Crimson "East Texas Resource Play" map (can't remember where I saw the map) where they showed a Exxon #1 Sutton, Marathon #1 Stokes and a Shell #1 Jones. They labeled these wells "Legacy Haynesville Control" wells. They are located in mid SA County pretty close to the Sabine County line. What might they be planning for these wells? What does that mean?

Southwestern Energy completed three wells in the Angie Field. The Timberstar-Hopkins GU 3 Well No. 1H and the Timberstar-Hopkins GU Well No. 2H are 4.4 miles southeast of Aiken. The No. 1H hit 13,070 feet and potentialed 9.590 million cubic feet of gas on a 34/64-inch choke. The No. 2H hit 13,000 feet and potentialed 9.912 million cubic feet of gas on a 38/64-inch choke. The ADJ Minerals Well No. 2H hit 13,862 feet 4.1 miles northeast of Attoyac. On a 40/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.810 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the James Lime.

I heard Encana may be looking for an office in San Augustine again. They shut their office down a while back.

Lot of positive talk about San Augustine and it has been proven for the Northern part of the county. What does anyone think about the Central and Southern part of the County? Someone take a stab.

I heard Encana has contractors working back at the pad they started early this year off FM1277. I drove by this morning & talked with some of the guys. They are definately working full force on the pad. Lines of lime trucks, bulldozers working, all in plain site of the road. The location is exactly one mile north of the FM1277/ FM1196 intersection. Exactly one mile from our property! I listened to Encana's 3rd qu investor's presentation Friday. They have 750M budgeted for Haynesville in 2010. Hopefully, at least 50% of that will be for wells...
