Good wells intrepid. They need to just keep moving South.

Here's some info on what has been going on in SW Shelby Co. just a little north of the SA County line. I think it shows potential for SA also.
Shelby County

The McSwain Well No. 6 bottoms at 12,460 feet nine miles southwest of Center in the Stockman Field. This well was drilled by Devon Energy. On adjustable choke, it potentialed 5.400 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.

On 64/64-inch choke, the Weaver Well No. 1 potentialed 10.072 million cf of gas. This well was completed 11.2 miles southwest of Center in the Angie Field by Cabot Oil & Gas. Total depth is 13,269 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.

Devon Energy completed the Case Well No. 3 in the Stockman Field to 12,430 feet. Location is 10.8 miles southwest of Center. This well was gauged on an adjustable choke and potentialed 11.559 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.

Lessor, is there a website you use to monitor progress of this HS well that you can share?

I was approached back in June with an early offer. Very small though. A couple of months ago I was contacted by another company but was never made an offer. We have two tracts of land. Encana told me we were not in their buy zone right now but several around us leased with them. Devon has also leased around us. Hopefully things will open up when the economic situation gets better. Time will tell.

I was just trying to get you guys talking again. It was looking like JWC and I were the only ones posting anything...getting lonely :)
I have only had one offer on any of my tracts and it was very small. I don't have any land near JWC...most of mine is in the south end of Sabine Co. except for a tract east of Hemphill and another near Old Sabinetown (which got an offer two weeks ago). A few people were leased in this area by Devon back in Aug./Sept. @ 5K, I think. I'm in a holding pattern for now.

You mean you were never contacted to lease, or you were contacted and are waiting for a better offer?
