Has anyone heard of new leases in or very near to Center?  My land is a good part of the Harvey Survey and our last lease expired in 2011.  Are there any producing wells close to this?

Thanks,  Robin (descendant of the McKee, Ellington and Crawfords of Shelby Co.

ALERT SHELBY COUNTY MINERAL OWNERS: please contact Representative Chris Paddie at Rep. Chris Paddie (R – Tyler) chris.paddie@house.state.tx.us 512-463-0556 and ask him to VOTE NO on HB100 - Forced Pooling bill in the House Energy Resources committee on Wednesday March 13!

We must KILL THIS BILL in committee. This is a terrible bill for all Texas land and mineral owners.

Hi Shelby county! Still alive and kicking, though I don't come on much anymore. Now that my disease has progressed such, I do wish I had signed on my last offer back in 2009. Oh well, I will will it to my nieces and nephews, so maybe my small little share will bring them great rewards in their lifetime! Take care y'all!

Butterfoot, it was a temporary situation.  It is available now but you may find it unavailable Sunday afternoon when they shut down for regular maintenance.

Texas RRC has restricted public online access to Drillling Permit information. Anyone know why?

"There are 4 rigs in Shelby" which is notable because Shelby County was the focus of drilling a year ago with a high point of 19 rigs drilling at once.  The price of gas is supressing activity but XTO and CHK still have acreage to HBP so drilling will continue but at a slower pace unless the price of gas goes up significantly.
