Thank you Skip for explanning why I could not see the lastest activity. Hopefully 2010 will bring some drilling to Winn Parish. Do you think Winn Parish will be considered for the Haynesville Shale or possibly coal bed methane gas.

Joe. When you see latest activity but no new post, it is one of the GHS members joining the group. If you are logged in when it occurs, you can see it in the latest activity of the Main Page, left hand column. If not, it's just as you describe.

Hi Lee, where is the acreage located where they're doing seismic testing, ie: township, range, etc? Thanks, Jack

The seismic crews are preparing for the blasting operation in north west Winn Parish, as of November 6th. They have installed a recording device and are laying cables on our property on Hwy 126.

Hi Ellie Mae, there are several, maybe quite a few, folks who are in the same boat with you, having land in Winn Parish but living quite a distance away (we're in Austin) and needing to keep up with what's going on. Please include me in your list. The better the communication between us all, the better we come out at the bargaining table! Jack
