Well permits do not come from levee boards. It is possible that Halcon wishes to conduct surface operations on levee board land and that might require a permit. Pump jacks have no bearing on requirements for reporting to the state. I trust the state database. Which anyone can access who would prefer facts over rumors.
My source was at the last levee board meeting and that is where Halcon was getting the permit....and as far as the Broadway well, I "believeeeee" that unless there is a pump on the well they don't have to give any data to Sonris....right? just asking...my "little birdie" is doing just fine...I like him...Thanks Blackjack!!
Halcon reports to the state that the Broadway is Status Code 31: INACTIVE DRYHOLE- FUTURE UTILITY. There has been no production. Beware of "birdies".
There has been no new TMS well permit issued to Halcon as of Tuesday. If one appears in the database I'll add it to the discussions.
jean, u 'da best!
any sonris?

Hope it is producing a bunch of oil.
My "birdie" told me that the Broadway well is producing but doesn't know how much...still seems to be a "hush, hush" attitude about it..
I was "told" that it would be in about 2 weeks...when we might hear something...
Well, I looked at the Halcon presentation on their website, not a word about Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and the Broadway well. Looks like we will have to continue waiting.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
