I own 200 acres which adjoin Bayou Cocodrie and are right up against the Evangeline parish line. From my reading of the map, it looks like the Broadway well is fairly close to my property and we are not yet leased.
Comment by Two Dogs, Pirate on March 3, 2013 at 6:55 The Lambright was cored and there was not enough shale in the formation to make it economical to drill a horizontal out of the well. Halcon made the anouncement and put it on their website last week. No one will know the results of the Broadway well until the frack job is complete. The $1000 has been in place around the Broadway well for months $500 for 3 year primary term and $500 for a 2 year option to extend or Halcon's offer of $800 for a 5. year extension.I doubt if you could find many acres to lease anywhere around the Broadway well.
does anyone know if the lambright well was cored?
Does the plugged hole on lambright kill the play for mineral owners on twin bridges?
