New in the group....but would like everyone to know that I heard from a good source that Halcon will be digging a well on Latanier road in the Spring. Has anybody else heard this? Would be interested to know if the leases in that area have gone up or they still staying at $500 for 3 and 2? I know they are getting $1000 an acre across the river from Poland.
HALCON trailer delivered and set up at intersection of 165 and lambright land (next to buccaneer truck (hwy 165.)
talked w/ men in trailer. pad will be 1.5miles n of 165, halfway to twin bridges rd. rig still under construction in tx but will be delivered after xmas and then spud in jan.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
