BAYOU RAPIDES FIELD,  AUSTIN CHALK ZONE.  ( leased summer '18. )

notice is heareby given that Torrent oil plans to apply....

2. to create 8 drilling and production units for the austin chalk zone, Reservoir A and to force pool.....etc.

this is the mcnutt, hot wells area!

Skip, a big thank you for hanging in there with us undereducated people and I top the list. You deserve an award for being patient and taking the time to explain things to us. Of course I should have caught this, but was happy to see a well permitted for rapides and jumped the gun posting.

That is a Salt Water Disposal well (SWD).  They are easy to recognize as their six digit serial number begins with a "9".

State lease sale this morning. There were two tracts in rapides parish, 39 acres and 80 acres. They brought 150 per acre and .1875 bonus.
