LEASE CLAUSES for No-Surface Operations

FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY



Here are some lease clauses that landowners can talk over with their attorney. These clauses are more favorable toward the landowner and cover a lot of different items that I have not seen mentioned in this forum. Paragraph 2. a. makes sure that you get the full market price of the sale of your minerals and that the company cannot make a "brother-in-law deal" with your minerals.

I am writing an oped on royalty deductions, but I needs a success story, for some reason I always go back to your story: ) Can I use it in the OpEd. Basically, I'd need this -  an example of a family that's putting its kids through college, paying its mortgage, etc. with royalties. I would use myself, but that wouldn't work since i am writing it. lol

Thanks for the heads up on the rig. It should be the following:

Please note that even though the surface location is in Section 17, the well is targeted for Section 20 to the south.
