I got drunk with friends on White Port wine and rode Amerada Petroleum's oil pumps in Eola back in the mid 60's - there were derricks and pumps all over the place back then, some were in the middle of Bayou Boeuf. We used to hunt rabbits on the pipelines and fish catfish and crawfish off their platforms. Never had an interest in their oil - sorry I am not able to answer your question.

Wayne:

Where is the acreage (section, township, range)? Send information to my email: warrland@bellsouth.net. I'll do some poking around.

The Chalk is not quite dead, just real slow. It can be produced economically in certain areas, but rig costs have been prohibitive up until recently as far as economic production. Something else may be up, though. Send me what you can.

The FPC has 30 acres in section 25 which is beside section 30 on the map. Would this be an area that the company out of Dallas would be interested in? I do not know who owns the rest of the land in section 25.

Hey HWS, Can't believe I missed Larry Shafer with Petromax. He called us about 3 weeks ago as my family has 110 acres in those sections but I had no idea he was coming to the Webster Group this quick. How did the meeting go? Thanks
