Washington Post Editorial Advocating Shift to Natural Gas Electric Generation

Great editorial by WaPo.  Wish the White House and Congress would listen (just wishing, no politics intended or inferred).

Barack Obama would rather French Kiss Dick Cheney than ever acknowledge the oil and gas industry as having a credible solution to climate change. He was elected on the anti-oil (anti-Bush) plank and will try to fly his magic carpet on wind and solar before he'll officially acknowledge natural gas as part of the energy transition solution.

I'm suggesting keep it policy and forget who's kissing who. It is good to hear a national newspaper favoring a look at NG and we'll see what the politicians (both sides) do. Again due respect to all.
I'm hopeful that when the dust settles, reality will overwhelm politics. My main concern is the EPA getting into the picture and retarding the ability to frac wells.
Yes, it would be great for EPA (and don't forget the states) to take a reasonable approach and also for the industry to be proactive with both the regulators and any apprehensive citizens (be good neighbors) to take responsible care. IMHO, I think any kind of national fracturing legislation getting through the Senate would be slim and none.
