LOUISIANA NATGAS OUTPUT CLIMBS FOR 16TH. STRAIGHT MONTH - EIA MAY REPORT

Louisiana saw a 3.4 percent, or 0.2 bcf per day, rise in gross output to 6.17 bcf daily, its 16th straight monthly gain due to strong Haynesville shale output.

total production dropped 0.81 bcfd in the lower 48 states this has help NG price to stay around $4
Maybe our next pool should be a contest to see who can pick the first month that Louisiana registers its first decline in production. Considering the backlog of wells Waiting On Completion, I suspect that it will be a while. I wonder when E. TX. production will reach it's height and the whole of the Haynesville Play will exhibit a decline. 2012?
Depends on price. If the Operators start drilling alternate unit wells, it should be well after 2012. If not, 2012 is probably a good guess.
SB, I don't even want to think about the major shale players going into alternate unit well mode. The smaller players are making such good wells now that they could possibly maintain production levels for the NW. LA. portion of the Play with their alternate unit well development alone.
