Would where petroleum was obtained make any difference in what price a barrel of oil would be fetching in the world market? Be great though to keep production, along with those dollars, at home..
I doubt if the price of gasoline or diesel will come down so long as autos continue to need it regardless where it's produced. Switching vehicles over to home produced CNG, on the other hand, would seriously mess with those Arabs bottom line..
Keb, I have been saying this for a VERY LONG TIME!!!! We need to HELP OURSELVES!!!!!
I am in your Amen Corner!!! Love the letter for this discussion, and WE SHOULD HAVE DONE WHATEVER WE COULD A LONG WHILE BACK.
I hate to be a thorn in your side, and I totally agree with this letter. On the other hand, this will never happen. When this Country sold, it’s self to the Federal Reserve, and began taking on huge sums of debt to fund corporate, government, and individual welfare programs. All of the money borrowed had to be collateralized with something. Those who hold our debt control our Country, and dictate our policy with the threat of financially destroying our economy in one day. If we become energy independent what would our administration do with its time? God Bless you for expressing your opinion and determination. I always wondered when we had a surplus of natural gas why didn't we build more facilities and transfer over this clean fuel to more venues. That would make too much sense and give jobs to Americans in what is left of America. That will never happen now.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
