About 3 weeks ago Tyler Paper said that they lost their source for the East Texas Drilling Report.
TOO BAD --- this was good easy info

Yeah, I called and they said the service that compiled and provided the information to everyone closed their doors! Sucks... it was the only way I could figure out how to see the new permits and completions since the companies that lease from us are so tight lipped about what they are up to! The Oil & Gas industry is like it's own secret society or sect.

I have been told I can get the same information from the TRRC site, but I will be darned if I can figure out the how's and where's of their site. What the site needs is a tutorial help screen to walk us through it... but I figure they deal with people who know and the rest of us really don't pay their bills (so to speak) so we don't really matter.

Anyway, if anyone can figure out where to get all of that information with the details we have on our leases, please educate the rest of us.  :-)

I contacted the Tyler paper and was informed that they are going to work on gathering the information for us in the near future.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Guess we will wait and see.

Looks like the Tyler Paper came through with their promise this week ----- seems to be a lot different and more efficient for them (less talk-- just a report)------ Does anyone know if other districts in Tx are reported by other papers ?
Yes, they came through, a nice little PFD file to look at... a little different, but it works ! Yeah!
Bill, I always PDF'd the old report anyway.
I would be particularly interested in the Eagle Ford Shale counties.
