It is an encouraging read but I'm surprised he's only getting $7000 checks for two wells on 180 acres! Are the
wells low-producing? I know that Marcellus wells are supposed to produce less than Haynesville, but the amount still seems low for that much acreage and two wells. Any ideas?
Well, he is going to be pleasantly surprised at what $5 for gas will do to his checks. If he was getting $3.50 to generate $7,000, he will be very happy with the $10,000 the higher pricing will bring.

I really appreciate the clipping service you provide because often you catch an article on the HA. Shale that I miss. However, the title of this site is "go haynesville shale." It would be helpful to readers if your title contained so clue as to its subject other than a generic "Very good read." Frankly, I could care less about a Marcellus royalty check of $7,000. You have every right to post whatever you want, but how about a clue.
