10 days ago when I went to Woodville on business there was a completion rig on a location South of Woodville on Hwy 61. Today when I went back the well is in production. Anybody know what well this is? They have 6 tanks on site and a flare burning. A crude truck was pulling in on site to load. Just wondering.

Joe,
There have been several different operators down there drilling Wildcat/Wilcox/Yegua verticals. Maybe someone in the area can name that specific well but it most likely belongs to one of these: Unit Petroleum, Davis Southern Operating, Danmark Energy, Fort Apache Energy or NADSOILCO. They have all permitted verticals in the southern half of Tyler Co. over the last year or so and they all appear to be looking for Wilcox and/or Yegua.
Sorry jffree but this is Woodville MS on US Hwy 61. Its a TMS well. Just don't know which well it is. The site is new and it looks like the well has just been put on line.

To get a response from members here for the TMS you're better off posting to one of those specific groups. When you do that they get an email notice of the new group discussion thread. No notice is sent for Main Page discussions.
It is most likely the SN MORRIS #2H well, but it doesn't exactly line up with your directions.
Thanks TC,
I probably should have stopped and checked out the sign on the gate. But the gate was open and a crude carrier had just pulled on site. Plus I was in traffic and should have slowed down sooner. Was just wondering what well that is. They have really set the site up nicely. Everything is clean and new.
Thanks Nick,
It will be interesting to see what the IP is.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
