Suzanne, I think the only one possibly leasing in Sabine County right now may be Devon. That's D.J. Energy, and the office is on north side of the square in San Augustine, John Fisher Law Center Bldg. But they are only leasing in areas specific to the leasehold they already had at the end of the year. As far as I know, no one is keeping offices in Hemphill right now. Where is your land located in Sabine County?

Can someone give me a telephone number and possible a name of someone I can contact to discuss leasing my 60 acres in Satine County Texas? Thanks

Crimson, is right across from Encana. They are not leasing the building next to the gym anymore its the one next to it.

Crimson did have a office in San Augustine. Not sure where they are now. I think they moved from their original location on Columbia Street across from Encana.

Crimson Exploration Inc. Monday, February 23, 2009

Crimson Exploration announced results of production and drilling activity for the fourth quarter of 2008 and year-end 2008 reserves.

Haynesville Acreage Acquisition

As previously announced, we acquired during the third and fourth quarters of 2008 approximately 13,000 net undeveloped acres in Sabine, Shelby and San Augustine counties, Texas on which we will target the Haynesville Shale, James Lime, and Travis Peak formations. We are currently developing a drilling strategy for this acreage, including unit and well spacing, with the expectation that we will commence our first vertical test during the second quarter of 2009. We will continue to acquire additional acreage that complements our existing position for the remainder of the year, and expect to have an active drilling program in this area by early 2010

Anyone know about this well in Sabine county:

I really think it is going to pick up this first quarter of the year whatever the price. O & G companies are also long term thinkers. Everything crashed last quarter, as it always does at the end of the budget year. Of course, the price is not helping but they have seen it before.

That is good news. I didn't know exactly where that well was. I sure wish we could see some action in Sabine County soon. Probably will when prices pick back up.

Because this well is in the southern end of Sabine Parish just across the lake and I am believing that the gas runs under the lake into Sabine County across from Hemphill and Six Mile.

Sandstone, Why do you say that it looks like good news for the southern end of Sabine County? I hope so but don't understand why.
Thanks for any insight!
