The GPS numbers at the bottom of the shot don't refer to anything but my cursor location when I saved the image. I map those locations using the Lat./Long. from the operators unit maps. It isn't precise (with Google Earth) but it gets you quite close.

Thanks! I have studied your Google map at "St. Mary News" marked with location of SM Lewis# 1-H exploration well. This is the area of one of my leases, actually about 200 feet from where my 3G-grandfather is buried in an unkempt cemetery. We found TGC survey tape along that dirt road during a visit last November.

The GPS numbers at the bottom do not quite add up for me. Could you share the source of your location information? If it is on line somewhere, I don't know how to find it.

Willis B, look at the "St. Mary News" discussion for the Lewis #1H location.

Could you give us a closer location for SM Lewis # 1-H in the J. Bittick Survey?

SM Bland Lake #1 is in the Edmund Quirk Grant A-35, LAT 31º 35' 17. 16" LON 094º 06' 09. 09" , just across FM 1279 from my present lease.

That's why I am so interested. Thanks!

Willis
