Thanks Jffree,will do
You might want to check the county records to see if your lease has been assigned to another operator. That is pretty much EOG & EnCana territory so I wouldn't be surprised if someone else holds your lease now. It's a little early for an extension. Look for something to happen in the fall if it's going to be extended.
I am leased to Cabot, on land in surveys in A-83 Wm Clark,a-238 E.P,Richie and JA brooks A-65;;;scheduled to expire 29th day of January 2013..and eligible for re lease for additional 2 yrs at that point.
My question is are the oil/gas companies exercising there options to re lease currently with the price of natural gas as low as it is now? I figure a lot of thing may happen in* months , but was wondering how the trend is going
Welcome, Sanoakey, and thank you.
Thanks for the info Jffree We are lucky to have you on this site
They're good for two years.
Is there a time limit to use that permit
No activity on either permit.
Anyone know about the Scorpions SL DU #1 and Butler Rooney SL @1HB on 21 West. XTO got permits back in Nov 2011
Joe Ed Jones---Sorry to info you BUT producing minerals are not associated with Surface land of property but two separate items--- You are taxed once your minerals produce income (Be happy you paid NO tax on minerals before as they produce no income) The surface owner paid taxes on surface and nothing to do with minerals and of course land owner receives nothing from the mineral royalty income.
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
