Most of the activity seems to be in the northern half of SA county.

For my friends in SA county, in case you missed the ET Drilling Report:

San Augustine County

The Angie (James Lime) Field will see the Jacquelyn Bright Gas Unit Well No. 1H drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas to 9,000 feet in the Holman, S Survey, A-135. This well will be 5.82 miles northwest of San Augustine.

Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Jacquelyn Bright Well No. 3H, 6.21 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Angie (James Lime) Field. This well will bottom at 9,000 feet in the Holman, S Survey, A-135, 6.21 miles northwest of San Augustine.

In a lease 17.4 miles northwest of San Augustine in a Wildcat Field, the Scott Well No. 1 will be drilled to bottom at 11,500 feet by Enerquest Corp. This well will be drilled in the Scott, E T Survey, A-286 and may also be drilled in the Martinsville, North (Travis Peak) Field.

SA is looking good.

I believe Elite Landworks leases for Cabot Oil & Gas.

This is for anyone that may be in the know. We have 17+ acres unleased in SA County in A-17 and A-132. This is north of 103 and just S of SA. I looked into the surrounding land and a larger lease of 230+ was leased by Elite Landworks Association. Is this a broker/flipper? and didn't they get into some issues with landowners that were not happy? Any info on other co.'s in that area that anyone is aware of that I could contact? Thanks!

Not sure if anyone is signing but I hear downtown San Augustine is still buzzing with landmen.

LaSalle Co. is pure south Texas brush country.

LaSalle County, southwest of San Antonio, Shelly. I don't know why anyone would call that "southeast" Texas...
