Developmental:

Shelby County

The Betty Fults Betty Well No. 1H will be drilled to 12,100 feet 4.8 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field by Noble Energy. The well is in the A. Lindsey Survey, A-423 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.


In a lease 0.4 miles north of Patroon in the Huxley (6100) Field, the Common SWD Well No. 3 will be drilled by Common Disposal to 6,500 feet in the J. Harrison Survey, A-306.


The Wolfpack DU Well No. 1H and the Tigers DU Well No. 1H will be drilled by XTO Energy in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.


The Wolfpack DU Well No. 1H will hit 21,100 feet 10.3 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the J. Anderson Survey, A-5.


The Tigers DU Well No. 1H will hit 18,000 feet 9.9 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the J. Anderson Survey, A-5.

The Nobles #1H was just permitted on April 12. It is targeting the Haynesville Shale which is a dry (no HVL or oil) gas field. It is not producing anything at this time because it has not been drilled yet.

Shelby County Completions:

Shelby County

The Warr Well No. 1H was completed by Devon Energy to 11,521 feet 2.2 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 4.302 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


Devon Energy completed the Whitton Gas Unit Well No. 1 H to 11,635 feet 9.5 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 6.650 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


Devon Energy completed the Eddins Unit Well No. 1 to 12,496 feet 8.6 miles northeast of Center. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 75,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.


Unit Petroleum completed the McCants Well No. 1 in the CCB Field to 11,738 feet 4.3 miles northwest of Center. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 273,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


On a 29/64-inch choke the Worsham OU B Well No. 1 11.2 miles southwest of Center and flowed with 687 barrels of crude. This well was completed by Cabot Oil & Gas in the Angie Field. Production is in the Pettet.

Developmental:

Shelby County

Endeavor Natural Gas will drill the BP Cottle Well No. 3 to 10,000 feet 6.5 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman (Travis Peak) Field. The well is in the G.W. Cottle Survey, A-137 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.


XTO Energy will drill the Gators DU Well No. 1H to 19,700 feet four miles southeast of Shelbyville by in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. It is in the Hrs. B. Odelle Survey, A-534.


Chesapeake Operating will drill the Davis Well No. 1H to 18,000 feet in a lease 3 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage (Haynes-ville Shale) Field. It is in the Z.C. Walker Survey, A-757.


Chesapeake Operating will drill the Nobles Well No. 1H and the Tucker Well No. 1H will be drilled in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.


The Nobles Well No. 1H will hit 18,000 feet 3.4 miles southeast of Center in the Z.C. Walker Survey, A-757.


The Tucker Well No. 1H will hit 20,000 feet 8 miles west of Center in the W.M. Bell Survey, A-1132.


EOG Resources will drill the Marshall Anderson Well No. 1H to 11,800 feet 1.8 miles northeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Hayneville Shale) Field. The well is in the T. Llewellyn Survey, A-428.


The R Dean Hay Gas Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum to 18,000 feet 1.9 miles southwest of Joaquin in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the S.O. Pennington Survey, A-555.


XTO Energy will drill the Beavers DU Well No. 1H to 20,300 feet 9.3 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the N. Kimbro Survey, A-405.


BRG Lone Star will drill the Laman-Peal Gas Unit Well No. 1 and the McIntyre Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Timpson (Travis Peak) Field.


The Laman-Peal Gas Unit Well No. 1 will hit 8,000 feet 16.9 miles northwest of Center in the H. Byfield Survey, A-51.


The McIntyre Gas Unit Well No. 1 will hit 8,000 feet in a lease 16.1 miles northwest of Center in the A. McDonald Survey, A-486. These wells may also be drilled in the North Timpson (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field or the Northeast Timpson (James Lime) Field.

Shelby County

Cabot Oil & Gas completed the Borders Unit Well No. 4 and the Temple Inland Well No. 4 in the Angie Field.


The Borders Well hit 11,106 feet 10 miles southwest of Center and potentialed 1.935 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.


The Temple Well hit 11,331 feet 9.51 miles southwest of Center and on an adjustable choke potentialed 3.313 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the James Lime.


Three wells were completed in the Angie Field by Cabot Oil & Gas.


The Hooper (Pettet) Well No. 1 hit 12,867 feet 10.39 miles southwest of Center and flowed with 92 barrels of crude on a 32/64-inch choke.


The Gilchrist (Pettet) Well No. 1 hit 12,548 feet 10.4 miles southwest of Center and flowed with 141 barrels of crude on a 50/64-inch choke.


The Forbis OU A Well No. 1 hit 13,394 feet and flowed with 613 barrels of crude on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettet.

Shelby County

Devon Energy will drill the King GU Well No. 1 H to 18,000 feet 8.1 miles north of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the H. Hilton Survey, A-304 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.


Classic Operating will drill the Charles Childress Unit Well No. 3 to 9,000 feet in a lease 3.1 miles east of Joaquin, in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field. It is in the J.D. Hardin Survey, A-887.


XTO Energy will drill the Badgers DU Well No. 1H and the Zap DU Well No. 1 in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The No. 1H will hit 20,800 feet 3.6 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Castleberry Survey, A-113. The No. 1 is five miles northeast of Center.

The Orediggers DU Well No.1H will be drilled 9.1 miles southwest from Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. XTO Energy Inc. will drill the well to a depth of 8,700-feet in the Hennis, J J Jr. Survey, A- 309.

XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Fightin’ Illini DU Well No.1H and the Buckeyes DU Well No.1H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The Fightin’ Illini DU Well No.1H will bottom at 18,700-feet 10.7 miles south from Center in the Hennis, J J Jr. Survey, A-309. The Buckeyes DU Well No.1H will bottom at 19,000-feet nine miles southwest from Shelbyville in the Rusk CSL Survey, A-591.

The Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field will see the Utes DU Well No.1H drilled by XTO Energy Inc. The well will bottom at 19,400-feet 9.5 miles southwest from Shelbyville in the Alcorn, L Survey, A-981.

The Timberstar-Blackstone GU 1 Well No.1H will be drilled 11.8 miles northeast from Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will be drilled by Southwestern Energy Production Co. in the Rowe, J Survey, A-585 to a depth of 13,000-feet.

E.Tx Drilling Report - 2/28/2010:

Shelby County

Chesapeake completed the Carzenava 1H to 16,180 feet, 3.8 miles northwest of Center in Carthage Field. On 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.318 million cubic feet. Production in Haynesville Shale formation.


On a 17/64-inch choke, the Horned Frogs DU Well No. 1H potentialed 9.728 million cubic feet of gas. XTO completed it four miles southeast of Shelbyville in Carthage Field. This well bottoms at 18,406 feet with production in the Haynesvill Shale formation.

Shelby County

The Griffith Well No.1 is located 5.07 miles northwest from Center in the Center Field. Unit Petroleum Co. has completed the well to a depth of 11,370- feet. When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 441,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville formation.

The most recent drilling that I have seen that includes the Carzenava survey would be Devon's Warr Unit 1-H. Drilling is completed, but there has not yet been any public announcement of IP on that one.
