Is the famolc limited to sections 11-14? I have a city lot in 9.

An access road is getting ready to be made off Keith Rd about 300 yards behind my house in section 25 T16N 15W.

I was looking at the section map
http://sonris-ww.dnr.state.la.us/gis/sonris/viewer.htm
And I noticed that section 13 shows 4 drill points where as most sections show only one. There are a few to the West of section 13 with two drill points. Are these possible drill points (the brown dots)? If so, why does Section 13 have four?

Hey group,

I was wondering if all you mappers out there could tell me what section, township, and range Azalea Gardens subdivision lies in? Thanks in advance!

I think the job everyone is doing trying to get the word out is great. I live in Bossier and have been helped greatly by the info and briefings. However, the thing I noticed a week or so ago is that no one is talking about what getting this money (no matter how much) is going to effect people's financial lives. I work part-time for H&R Block and have started going to various meetings to give hand-outs and briefings about the income tax, social security, medicare/medicaid, and disability ramifications of this income. If any of the groups meeting would like to have this done please email me at kathmorgan@bellsouth.net This IS NOT a selling job for H&R Block and doesn't cost anything. Just trying to get the word out.

If any of you readers need a Parish map that shows the section, township, range they can be ordered from Department of Transportation and Development P.O. Box 94245 Baton Rouge, La. 70804 phone 225-379-1266 They are $1.61 each which includes shipping & handling.

Had a group of men driving down Elaine Drive putting orange marks on the road. I hope this means something. Looks like they had GPS equipment.

The FAMOLC (Forbing Area Coalition) group has members in sections 13 and 14 as well as 11,12 and others. Presently over 900 acres and have progressed pretty well in this process. We also are simply neighbors helping neighbors i dealing with this issue. Contact has been made with several O&G Companies and at least one meeting is set. Open to all who want to join. No fees or commissions involved.
