Lithium from brine is an evolving energy play based on Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE).  The DLE process for extracting lithium and other elements with value from Smackover (SMK) formation water is becoming the most economic and environmentally friendly means of sourcing domestic lithium for use in modern battery technologies.  Leasing is ongoing and extraction plants are in the design/development stage.  Different states will have somewhat different regulatory and legal frameworks.Note that…See More

Very good. I appreciate the effort and the heads up. The more mineral lessors who contact the DNR/OOC regarding delinquent unit surveys, the greater the pressure to get this extreme oversight resolved.

I would be interested in comparing notes. McGinty-Durham is one of the companies I have been (trying to) to work with since 2010. My family's mineral interest is in southern Miller County--just west of Ida, LA along the AR/LA line. Anything you could share would be appreciated and I'll be glad to share what I know. Thanks.

Hello! I hope the site is a place for you to learn, network and contribute. My name is Keith and I started the site in June of 2008 to open up lines of communication between landowners. Since then, we have grown to over 10,000 members.

There are a couple things you should check out. 1) Check out current discussions. 2) Join in on the County and Parish Groups. By joining a County or Parish, you are networking locally with people who share similar concerns.
