I DON’T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED BUT I FELL IN LOVE ON-LINE.

I’ve never been to a social network site before so it has been an odd experience for me. I came to GHS for information. I googled Haynesville Shale and this was one of the things that came up. I read it and everything else I could find. I was and am completely fascinated. I just can’t learn enough.

I came to the sight with some background knowledge. I’ve leased before and thought when I leased this time it was just more of the same. I couldn’t wait to start getting my “mail box money”. I did my due diligence before I leased, but later found out that I was misled. I tried not to cry over spilled milk. I tried to not get upset over the fraudulent statements that were made to myself and my neighbors. It’s only business is what I thought. (And I could have made millions).

But the more that I read the more upset that I got. The people who were being hurt weren’t lazy or helpless. These were people who were taking care of their business in a business type manner. So many were lied to with the same song and dance. It is just too much to not see that the music was orchestrated by the companies. Of course they washed their hands and put on pretty ads.

As soon as I understood the significance of what Haynesville Shale actually is, I began to see it as a “blessing” for our community. I STILL SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT.

I’ve learned so many things on GHS that I feel like I have at least earned a BS degree (pun intended) in all of the time that I have spent on the site.

But along the way some other things happened. I met someone wonderful. I FELL IN LOVE. Do you want to know “who”? You may be completely surprised. I sure was. Isn’t only weirdoes that fall in love on the net? No, I am not a weirdo.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU.

I fell in love with this family. This family who can fight and who can make up and who support and love each other. I fell in love with so many as we share our joys and our heartbreaks.

Can I ever again feel like “it’s just business”? NO.

But I can feel a deep heartfelt appreciation for Keith for starting this website and for so many who share their information and experiences on here. YOU ARE TRULY THE BEST BLESSING THAT HAYNESVILLE SHALE HAS BROUGHT INTO MY LIFE!

I LOVE YOU ALL. (Even Ruston - Bless his soul). I love the companies because in the long run they really will bless our community and maybe even the whole country.

I feel like you folks are my family. I love you like you are.

I hope that each of you are as completely blessed by GHS as I have been.

Hi Parker, As I have always thought of you as a man, named Parker. It was a surprise to hear those call you Ms. Parker. In all our back & forth dialog, you gave me courage to stand strong, even when the BIG pipeline company was pushing me around. Your advice was always sound, and from the heart. Thank you, for this, your first Blog...it's a good one.

Thanks Parker, that was a beautiful piece you wrote. I think you have summed up the sentiments of almost all on this site, we came to learn and along the way made friends. I have come to respect and value your opinion as well as the opinion of untold others here. All have taught me things that will serve me well when I get to the point (hopefully) to sign a lease. Caddo Tiger you are so right, I can't pass up a single day without seeing what I can learn from my online family here. I owe each and every one of ya'll a debt I can never repay with the knowledge ya'll have shared. Thanks and long live the Haynesville Shale!

Very good Parker, take it for what it's worth, but I don't like bitter people, and Parker is definitely not a bitter person, just takin it all in stride.

I agree, Parker, I have sneered at people doing the on line socializing, this is my first, I, too, came for information, have been a site member since last June, & have "showed up" almost every day. I have learned a lot (I think) & love reading the faithful's back & forth dialog. Great blog!

Ms. Parker: What a beautiful message that you have sent to all of us! Since the start of this web site everyone has gained new friends, enhanced their knowledge of the HS, provided support and assistance to each other. I feel that the GHS site has encouraged open communications to achieve a mutual understanding of the issues that effect us all and provide a respect of those trying to grasp the problems, resolve the issues, and add humor to assist us in becoming competent communicators. Great blog keep it up!

Parker,
Like you, I have never been on a social site either. This one seems different - not porn or nasty (most of the time) - I feel a connection with people on here too - a few I have met - most I have not - but I feel like I know them. It is great and I cannot wait to meet some more Shalers at the Super-Bowl and have your as my Partner!!!! You did good girl - Go Haynesville Hussies!!!!!

Parker, I must say your blog was right on point. Even though I may sit in the background on this website most of the time and just read, when I talk about GHS to someone I mention the members' names as if I know ya'll. I have learned so much from this website and thanks to everyone!

Parker, excellent post and thanks for sharing your feelings. It kind of reminds me of the movie "While You Were Sleeping" - one of my favorites.

Parker,
I couldn't agree with you more. I thought you did a fantastic job of summerizing what a lot of people feel on this site feel. I think most of us have on this site have made friends that will probably last us a lifetime. Thank you for your contribution and all that you have done for us on the GHS family.
