Gosh Darn, Of course you are correct. I said November/December, but meant December/January.
Thanks for catching it. $5.19...........I'm fired up!
Same here. Sure hope to see it in the 6-7 dollar range come January. That would be wonderful.
Today's Bloomberg article is not a lot to cheer about - looks like most experts see $5 next year and beyond.

Just a bunch of bears who plan on shorting gas for the next year or so. There are just as many experts out there who's prediction is for prices to average $6-$7 mcf. Just my opinion.
any have some recent wellhead posted prices they have been paid..to show differential between the Nymex prices and prices paid at the well head?
Not yet but I'm hoping to have some soon. CHK is on day 41 of drilling so it should be completed by the end of the week. But then I'm sure I'll have to wait at least another month or two before I start getting my revenue checks and a breakdown of the gas prices. Once I receive them I will let you know.
Don't get too excited, price is dropping fast, already down to 4.71 today.

On the hopeful side, we almost had a withdrawal last week, only a 2 BCF injection.
I saw that. I was getting a little worried after the market opened this morning and especially after yesterday. Although, it has seemed to rebound back up to around 4.84 as of 1:33 PM Eastern time. I also noticed spot prices had a hell of a jump yesterday. Really no point for someone like me to pay attention to the futures when the spot prices are what I'm getting at the wellhead. CHK is about to complete a well I have an interest in so I'm being as overly optimistic as can be. I'm working up here in the New England area and it sure looks like winter is setting in. Have some pretty cold weather pouring in and its shaping up for a blustery December. Hope it lasts.
It seems there was a big spread between futures and spot that day, but it's dropped quite a bit by now. I guess that's the way the market is supposed to work. Futures came down, and spot went up (I think).
