Shale news is soooooo slow and I am bored. I am wondering whatever happened to some of the most verbal players in the beginning of this site. Mooncookie, Jim Crow, Snake Stewart, Kassi, Jay (the other Jay--not Shale Geo).  There were others whose names I have now forgotten who are also lost. Did you all metamorphosize into our newer peers. If not, let's hear from you all again

Skip,

I agree with DrWAVeSport. That is pure gold. I didn't know you had such a superb sense of humor.

Thanks, obed.  Over the years we have had some entertaining tongue-in-cheek discussion threads.  In this case I think it helps to be familiar with the former members mentioned.  Since I knew them all pretty well, those comments just sprung to mind.  Here's another oldie but goodie. Maybe some of the other "Early Movers" will recall some discussions that they can post.  Periodic detours into humorous topics are good for the membership.

Skip,
I laughed so hard I fell off the sofa!

In addition to my rekindled dancing career, (I am indeed a member of Bon Temps Burlesque, a www.factorygurlz.com production) with out last performance just this last Saturday at "Strange Days" downtown under the bridge, I have spent the last year learning all about love. My newest endeavor is the guitar. Donnie Jones, musicians extraordinaire and old friend from LA also moved back home and is my instructor

I have also been writing extensively on hot legal issues and will freely publish when finished

I also have been writing on the art of FABU (ie, style).

Love to all,

Kat(aliscious!)
Kat(aliscious), best moniker you have sported to date!  LOL!  You've been dancing under the Texas Street Bridge????  And I missed it???!!!!   Drat the luck.  Good luck on the guitar lessons.  I'll look forward to your legal brief.
Skip, you did indeed miss a treat! We (Bon Temps Burlesque) opened the show and were hotter than the 100* temperature! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=186494784745783&set=a.18....
Dirtfoot and the New Orleans Bingo Show brought on the tunes. Fleur de Tease of New Orleans did exactly that!

My legal curiosity has led me to writing the art of hedging!, what a task
Hot stuff, Sister Kat!  Will the Art of Hedging be available on GHS?
Of course! Why work for money when it's free!
Yes, "free" is always popular on GHS.  Maybe one day Keith will put us in reruns and we will get residuals.  LOL!
More likely, we will always be the James Garners of hyperspace! lOL

Hey there, Kat!

Welcome back.  Good to see you here.  Good luck with the guitar -- hard as I try, I'm still pathetic.

I hear ya Henry! But, there's something about the tone and vibration that keeps me at it. Odd. It's usually about 1 or 2 in the morning when I think "I've got it!"
Hey KB, it feels good to hear your voice again. I can dance, but may get kicked out of the joint for doing so. Maybe I could get by with dancing under the bridge. My dancing may be classed as "Strange Ways". My mind and fingers do not connect but I was pretty good on the bugle back when I was in the Boy Scouts. I have been writing a pirate story but the pen hasn't touched the paper, it is writing in my mind as we speak.

The Lithium Connection to Shale Drilling

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…
