Worrisome. I look at the map..great for Texas and Louisiana economies. But in case of a military conflict this gulf area would be very easily blocked off...limiting shipping from our gulf ports.
Just saying..pays to look ahead. We would have to get the LNG delivered to complete the sales.
A military conflict in the gulf has a .0000001% chance of happening, terrorism has a better chance. But funny thing is that shale gas discoveries really put a big dent in the effect that hurricanes had on NG prices as the gulf becomes a small % of supply. Now with the LNG plants along the coast, a hurricane could actually cause NG prices to fall as supply gets trapped state side if the LNG plants get shut-in.
We just need to get some of these facilities fully approved and online, for both economic and geopolitical reasons.
