FYI — This flare is not at the well site; but actually at the gathering facility located about a half mile East of the well.

Thanks for the correction.

Wonder if Prime Rock will follow Marathon's lead?

Doesn't look like they have fracked Crosby 10 yet.  They are drilling a SWD well currently.

The Crosby well is reported having tested 1800 plus BBL's oil/day on SORIS.

So is that over 11,000 barrels of water per day?  So about 6 times as much water as oil?

Correct.  Prime Rock has one operational SWD well and a permit for another so I suspect high produced water volumes were anticipated.

Can that be economical?

Beats paying for disposal services but whether economic or not is above my paygrade.  Prime Rock has no well cost form posted and they have three more months on their live permit for the next well.  We'll have to wait and see if they decide to spud the next well.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
