THE GHS HAYNESVILLE SHALE RIG TRACKER.  2023

I'll update each week so we can follow the rig count.  I am only counting rigs drilling the Haynesville and Bossier formations.  Many industry rig numbers are for the "Haynesville Area",  however they may defined that, and includes wells drilling other formations.

This will be the end of this discussion thread.  Since Drillinginfo/Enverus acquired RigData, the cost of the weekly rig report has increased to the point where it is no longer worth the subscription price for me personally.  Happy Holidays to all.

Skip,

Thanks for keeping up this thread and putting the effort into it over time!

Really appreciate

ENVERUS costs have exploded with zero concern about out pricing smaller O&G entities and individuals

Sad state of affairs

You're welcome, Rock Man.  In addition to the ever increasing price, the Enverus accounts receivable department is a dumpster fire.

As is their lack of continuity as to sales reps.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired too.

Yikes!  Any alternatives?  I find the rig count info helpful.

Only by subscription.  Toward the end of my Enverus subscription I was paying $85/month.  The monthly cost for what I believe is the least expensive subscription is now $135.

what I was wondering was if any of thel arger firms operating in the area could sponsor a membership for GHS?  I guess that would depend on whether those firms think GHS is helpful to their business.

A question for Keith.

Any way to know what sec township range the BPX rig is drilling in Bossier Parish?

BPX rig is working in Section 33 -17N-12W.

Appears to be pad drilling 6 horizontal locations / rig started on this pad in November 2022.

Info found on ENVERUS site.

Thank you, Rock Man.
