I heard that Marathon (Southwind) recently commenced fracking operations on the Crowell 30 H well in Rapides Parish. Can anyone in that area confirm this news? Thanks
Great, thanks! Fingers Crossed
Great picture of site. Keep good news coming. Wonder why no new info on 252119 Crowell No 3?
Lisa the Crowell 252119 won't be spud/drilled until Primerock is finished drilling the Crosby 251932 in Vernon parish. Marathon and Primerock share the rental on the big rig needed to drill the depth and pressure in the area. So i am just assuming MRO will get the rig as soon as its done in Vernon. The turnaround btw the Crowell 251809 last report on 10/9 and the spud of the Crosby 251932, on 10/17, was only 8 days. Is that realistic to those in the Know?? RM, Jay, Skip.... hope that helps Lisa... HC
That's the Ensign 777 RIG right? Makes sense for cost effectiveness for 2 companies to use the same costly rig that is better on their bottom line.
Yes. It is the Ensign 777 Rig if my memory serves me right from pics sent to me!
Appears to be. Here is a cut-and-paste from a portion of the SONRIS well file.
COILED TBG CLEANOUT OF WELLBORE PRIOR TO FRAC OPERATIONS. TREAT LATERAL FROM 22,332' TO 16,143' IN 29 PLUG & PERF HYDRAULIC FRAC STAGES, DFIT TO BE DONE @ TOE OF WELL. COILED TBG MILLOUT OF FRAC PLUGS TO PREP FOR PRODUCTION. FLOW TEST WELL
Good info - hurry up and wait time!
Five more new production unit were just applied for nearby the Crowell well 30H. Good sign!
That is great news! Thanks for posting.
thx for posting guys, these applications are hopefully a good sign for production numbers coming on the Crowell #2 . HC
