Interesting new vertical well permit today for Nagodoches Co. Listing 6 formations, including a "wildcat" target with a completion depth 3,000' below the N.Carthage-Bossier Shale:

I don't know. It was pointed out to me that the Newark, E. field is used generically across the Barnette Shale now even though the wells are scattered over numerous counties.
I'll blame it on a sr. moment... I forgot about Naconiche Creek.

"Is this again nomenclature blurring Haynesville=Bossier shale."
Could be... Cabot comes to mind as stating that "it's all Bossier" and it is according to RRC. Haynesville Shale is the lower Bossier.

A new permit was filed yesterday (Sept. 25) on Gammage #1, to ammend old permit and add the Carthage North (Bossier Shale) field.
