I would appreciate someone letting me know if there has been any activity on Hwy. 79 Forest Grove Arkansas, right on the borderline of Arkansas and LA. I have property there, and I have heard from no one. I have approximately 170 acres. It was leased by my grandfather for 99 years. He could not read nor could he write. i am sure he had no idea how long 99 years would be. I am interested in speaking with an attorney. Who do you recommend? I believe he was also contracted with Exxon. There are 7 oil wells. I do not know if they have been capped. I do no that we only receive $25.00 a year per person. With the cost of gas, this does not sound right.

In AR do you have to return signed Division Orders to get paid? In LA you do not have to, all they need is an SS#. They should know what your % is and if the Division has an typo you are agreeing to that Division Order by signing it. Also, TX do they HAVE to have one signed to get paid?

Offered $175/acre, 3/16, 4 years with option for 4 additional years at 200/acre. Location is close to Louisiana line. Not a good offer for me.

It appears that the activity in Columbia County continues to be high. A few weeks ago I recieved an offer for lease of mineral rights in South Columbia County. I did not like the terms and refused the lease. Would appreciate any information on lease activity that you may know of.
