Thanks for posting this.  It is very good news. The reputation of Stanford is excellent.  Many people instantly dismiss a statement from someone out of LSU or UT. 

 

Sadly, it's just a bias, the research in LSU or UT might be much better.  It's the BRAND that counts and Stanford has it on the Left Coast and with environmentalists.

 

 

This is a very positive article.  Thank you so much for  posting.  This country needs to drill our resources for so many reasons.  I'm sure this won't end the fight against drilling but this interview was good very good to read. Thanks again.
I thought it was news-worthy because it comes from someone (a) not associated with the O&G industry and (b) who has great credentials.  I was especially pleased at his suggestions that we need to start moving to NG for our transportation needs.
