My cousin and I inherited 40 acres near Belcher (near Shreveport).  Is there drilling going on in the area? What are the general lease terms these days?

Do we just wait for EnCana to send notice of renewal/or nonrenewal? Seems as though we should be proactive since there is drilling all around us!  Natural gas is being used more and more!! Our lease runs out end of October. Any suggestions????
