CHK is a giant land speculation /commodity speculation hedge fund with so much leverage it will now mortgage (VPP) or sell assets at <$3/mmbtu NG to cover a negative cash flow of $8 to $12B this year.

I am new to this site and have found so much interesting information.  I have a question regarding permits.

I have 40 acres in Red River Parish and am currently not leased.  There is a permit hearing on Tuesday (February 14th) in Baton Rouge asking for permits in my section (20, Township 14, Range 9 West).  If Forest Oil is granted these permits how long are they valid or is there even a time limit?
