In 2,11N,16W there are several wells........Plugged and Abandoned and Permit Expired. Have the previous developers relinquished their rights? Even if they haven't, are rights renegotiable? Depths are between 8900' and 1950'. They are holes in the ground which, in my green way of thinking, is that they only have to go deeper to the Haynesville if that were plausible. Anyone offering me a glimmer of hope?
thanks,

"You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth! We live in a world that needs clean natural gas, and gas wells have to be frac’d by men with rigs and pumps. Who’s gonna do it? Microsoft? Apple? The energy industry has greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for your i-phone app, and you curse the frac crews. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what we know. That fossil energy fuels economic growth. And the existence of frac’ing, while grotesque and…

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SIGN YOUR OIL & GAS LEASE?
This article discusses what generally happens from oil and gas lease (“Lease”) signing to royalty check arrival. Every situation is different and these steps may happen in a different order than listed below but all occur before the mineral owner (“Owner”) gets a royalty check. This article is based on Texas law but should be similar to the process in other states.

A surface site…

Heard today that the Butler well is doing close to 50 mil. per day.
Rumor or fact I don't know but it's fun to spread

I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to post an update! It may have seemed that I had fallen off the face of the earth, but no, I have been spending the last several weeks traveling the back roads of Haynesville Parishes. I rarely have cell phone reception, much less access to the internet for my computer.
I have met more wonderful people in the last few weeks than I ever imagined, due largely in part to my finally becoming familiar with my way around. I was born and raised in an…

Jack found out these two tanks on the well site are standard procedure. They have one tank for water and one tank for condensate/oil even if the well is a dry gas well.
Jack found out the frac was 13 stages in a 4000' plus lateral. That has got to mean this well will be killer (at least that is jack's thinking).
I am still beating the bushes to find out what the IP was.
Please post it here if you hear anything related to this well.

-Jack Blake wants to keep up with this well and hopes others who have interest in or knowlege of will post.
-Today Jack learned that the well was flowed back within the past couple weeks and there was a big flare burning. Yeah!!!!
Jack passed by the well today and talked to some hands whjo were going to replace the wellhead. They said the well had been chemically plugged and was in the process of being pressure testing to 17000#. The hand who told Jack this really did not know jack…

If you have a well on your property or close to your property you have GOT to watch this video. There was an HBO Documentary Special that shows the impact of well fracing. You can get an idea of what this is about by going to You Tube and typing in "GASLAND Trailer 2010" I'm not a big tree huger BUT, EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH THIS

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY INPUT REGARDING THIS ISSUE BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO BE A GROWING PROBLEM WITH THE LOCAL BROKERS IN NWL? IT'S UNBELIEVABLE JUST HOW THESE GUYS ARE CONTROLLING "INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS" AS EMPLOYEES. THEY USE SCARE TACTICS THAT ACTUALLY WORK WITH MOST OF THE "NEWBIES" TO THE INDUSTRY. PEOPLE ARE SCARED FOR THEIR JOBS SO THEY CONFORM TO THE "COMPANY RULES" JUST TO SAVE FACE, INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY MAKING A STAND FOR WHAT IS "LEGALLY" MORAL. I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE HAS…
