the politicians are talking about their next vacation
and they have no solution
for our
Financial , Energy Problems.
Or Budget Trouble
They are busy spinning lies.

I have always felt we are responsible for ourselves because we really cannot depend on others to be responsible for us. When I was sixteen I quit school, packed my bags and left home. I ended up homeless for a while then was blessed with a son who made me want to be more. My son and I were on food stamps and lived in government subsidized housing and I received Pell Grants when I finally got my GED and started college. I was grateful for the help but never saw it as a hand out instead I thought…

There are those of us that have been leased for years. And have watched as wells in our units were drilled, and then maybe produced for a while and then the checks slowly stopped coming. Or maybe a well was a good one, and we found that the unit lines were changed, (without notice) and we were no longer part of that unit which had a good producing well. At one point a new well was drilled, and it was said, to have high gas pressure. My Mother worked with the landman to help get the local people…

Here is a piece of legislation you may be interested in.
The purpose is
"to greatly enhance the Nation's path toward energy independence and environmental, energy, economic, and national security, by amending Federal policy to increase the production of domestic energy sources..."
The bill seems to do a couple things.
1) It removes the off shore oil and gas drilling and forces the oil/gas produced to stay in the US (per the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act of…

Hey everybody. Does anyone know of anything going on in the Kilgore area? I have some mineral rights just outside of town and am curious as to what the rights may be selling for in the area.

On a 16" pipe, with a 50 Foot right of way, what are the prices paid for a rod?
The company is Embridge. I understand smaller pipelines running from wells on my property, or in the unit, where I would be dealing with Devon, would be less per rod, because of my lease with them, but on a outside company wanting to cross my property, what are some of the damages paid for different things. They first said they would be coming thru an area where the damages would not effect much, but when they…

Got a call from my oil lease group people. They told me My title had cleared and that I needed to come sign a W-9. I ask how much property they showed I owned. It was for about HALF of what I have. Guess they went by my Deed. The Deed stated That I owned lot 18 and half of lot 19. It gave measurements of each side of lot 19 in feet and stated how many acres.. Nothing for lot 18. So now I have to prove to the oil company that I do own lot 18. I thought they checked everything out at the court…

My question is simply this: Do you believe the HS will really reach Claiborne and if so, to what degree?
Serious responses will be very much appreciated. Geaux Tigers!

A funny thing happened on the way to sign the letter of intent..NOT!
I have been working since May for my area. I went door to door and talked to folks in my section about mineral rights and the need to collectively bargain. I had meetings in my living room then moved them to my yard when there were too many to fit into the house. Soon people from outside my section were joining our group and we had representatives from 8 sections.
I have been negotiating with the O&G…
