Drilling Activity Question for T16N, R8W

Does anyone have information on why the leasing and drilling activity has stopped moving east of S33, T16N, R8W ?? I haven't seen a new unit east of this point is quite sometime. I hear of seismic activity as far east as Ashland, is there anything to it?

DEBROECK=DEBROKE

I own 125 acres in section 33, 16n 13w and after royalties from the first well on the unit (run by camterra) produced scraps, I recently noticed a second well was being placed on the unit. Can anyone tell me if this is a horizontal well and if so mightl the amount of gas produced be significantly higher than the first.

Grogan Field- Natchitoches Parish

Just recieved a letter from attroneys of SAMSON CONTOUR ENERGY informing me that are creating 2 addional drilling and production units for Cotton Valley Formation and Haynesville Shale in Sec.8-10 W- 10N. I only own 1 acre- that has never been leased. Anyone else been contacted. If I read this correctly also includes S-5-10-10 and Sec18-10-10.

San Augustine County

I am a newbie, I know the survey and number for 4 separate tracks of land. Just have mineral rights. How do I go about finding out where this property is located. Cabot oil is wanting to lease. I have total 862 acres. They are offering $1000. per net mineral acre with 1/4 royalties. What do you think. Help!!!

What is the role of the landman?

My family and I asked a highly recommended landman to
represent us in obtaining a release from the company we
originally signed with.

The lease has run out and we want to get another company
involved.

So far the landman we are working with keeps making
promises to us, but so far we have no results.

We are anxious to move on. Any suggestions as to what
we do, since we do not have the release.

Sabine Co. Pipeline

A landman just left my house with the most ridiculous propasal to run a pipeline through my land. They are well below the industry average. They are not even offering half as much as other counties and parishs in the area. I hope the other land owners reject the proposal as well.

about 20 or thirty years ago chevron drilled a deep well in that area. several of the majors were in on it. rumor was they went about 10,000 ft deep and hit on top of a massive salt dome and plugged and abandoned the well. does any body know any thing about this. I WONDER IF THIS MIGHT BE THE REASON FOR LACK OF INTEREST IN THIS AREA(T8N 11WEST.

Mineral payments problem

Does anyone else out there receiving or expecting to receive payments for NG taken from your wells think the gas companies are screwing up your division orders and second-year property usage payments on purpose to bank on the interest and keep money out of our pockets.
