Got a letter from a Scott Byrd that the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources has asked operators to identify alternative water sources for their Haynesville development programs. Anyway Exco Production Company wants to install a pipeline through my property sections 7 and 8, Township 14 North, Range 13 West, approximately 5,006 feet, 2" to " low pressure. Does anyone know what would a good lease or contract would like like for this.

The American Natural Gas Alliance is pointing to a recent studythat gives credit for 3 million jobs to the natural gas industry. A quote from their press release, "The influence of the natural gas industry on the economy is spread throughout the continental United States.... New Gas Pipeline Shreveport to Lake Charles

I just heard that there were talks of a new gas pipeline going from Shreveport to Lake Charles. I was informed Shell was behind it. Has anyone heard of this project? Does anyone know the exact route? Where is it going in L.C.?

Natural Gas Nears $3.50 per 1,000 Cubic Feet At Mid-September 2009; Worst Recession Since 1930s Nears End

NATURAL GAS: Natural gas rose 16 cents to $3.454 per 1,000 cubic feet on Sept. 15, 2009 during morning energy trading. During Sept. 4, 2009, natural gas prices fell to $2.409 being a seven-year low, on the eve of the heating season.



CRUDE OIL: Benchmark crude for October delivery was up 69 cents at $69.55 a barrel in electronic morning trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange on Sept. 15, 2009.
